We are currently building our brand new corporate headquarters in Phelps NY, giving our team new opportunities for growth and training.

We are continuing to grow, and we are currently seeking an experienced HVAC installer to join our team. This position is for full-time employment with competitive pay, commissions, benefits, and advancement opportunities. This position will install residential and light commercial heating and cooling equipment. Requirements of 5+ years' experience with boilers, heat pumps, furnaces, A/Cs, fuel oil, all water heaters.

Job Summary

Performs installation and repair of equipment, materials, and or work in the field.

  • Prepares work areas for the installation of new equipment
  • Installs new furnaces, water heaters, boilers, air source heat pumps, A/Cs, etc...
  • Ensures the proper installation of all related components
  • Closes out jobs onsite with the customer at the end of the installation
  • Educates customer on proper operation of equipment
  • Creates opportunity to upsell and follows through with customer
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills Required

Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately and effectively.

  • Ability to read technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Ability to follow safety rules and regulations such as avoiding exposure to dangerous chemicals, excessive noise, and wearing protective gear such as safety glasses, safety gloves, safety outerwear, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, etc.
