Weatherization Installer / Carpenter

We are currently building our brand new corporate headquarters in Phelps NY, giving our team new opportunities for growth and training.

We are continuing to grow, and we are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Weatherization Installer to join our growing team. This position focuses on improving home comfort, energy efficiency, and safety through air sealing, insulation, and related weatherization measures. This position is for full-time employment with competitive pay, commissions, benefits, and advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Install insulation (blown-in, dense pack, spray foam, batts)
  • Perform air sealing (caulking, foaming, weather-stripping)
  • Install vapor barriers and air barriers
  • Set up and operate insulation and blower equipment
  • Perform basic diagnostics (blower door testing a plus)
  • Follow job specifications, safety standards, and quality guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members

Qualifications

  • Construction, insulation, or weatherization experience preferred (will train the right candidate)
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and confined spaces
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • OSHA 10, BPI, or weatherization certifications are a plus (not required)
